Good Planet Project is an environmental media project that shares stories about our earth and strategies to save it.
I founded the project to combine my two major passions; photography and art direction, with my growing concern for the protection of our planet. The project is a means for me to use my expertise to explore and contribute to the environmental movement.
The project is in the early stages but the goal is to grow it to provide other creatives with the support they need to use their skills to explore and advance environmental topics.
The following is a collection of a few of the stories I have created through the project.

Portraits Of The Highwood
An exploration of the impact of the logging of the Highwood Pass to those who are connected to the area. An excerpt:
”Something that I think about a lot, in relation to the Highwood, is the concept of ‘shifting baselines’ or ‘landscape amnesia’. I come from a generation and a culture that does not have the institutional memory of what was once here and what was on our landscape. This place once held an abundance that I truly can’t comprehend. And after generations of prioritising industrial development and ‘death by a thousand cuts’ style management, we have no memory of what these places once were and instead are left squabbling with government and industry over protecting a dozen trout here or a couple metres of setback there.”

Waterton Biosphere Reserve
“Waterton Lakes National Park and the adjacent municipalities are included in one of Canada’s 17 biosphere reserves. A biosphere reserve is “an area proposed by its residents, ratified by a national committee, and designated by UNESCO’s “Man and Biosphere” program (MAB), which demonstrates innovative approaches to living and working in harmony with nature.” It is basically a designated space that demonstrates and celebrates ways that humans can live in cooperation with the rest of nature.”

Shorefast Foundation
“Shorefast is a charitable organization situated throughout Fogo Island, Newfoundland. Fogo Island, being an island off of an island, is an ideal destination to experience authentic Newfoundland culture as all of the province's charm seems to be magnified based on its remoteness. Its communities, landscapes, and wildlife are mesmerizing and each community offers its own look into the potential hardships of living on a weather-beaten island. Although the island is intriguing in itself, it's safe to say that Shorefast contributions truly make it the world-renowned travel destination that it is.”
